Joanne offers a variety of classes for groups of all levels, as well as private 1-2-1 classes tailored to you.
Join us for a mindful practice of Hatha & Vinyasa Yoga. Each class offering a flowing range of yoga postures (asana) and empowering sequences all blended together with the breath.
A space in time to breathe, nurture, centre and empower yourself, leaving you glowing from the inside out. Each class is unique and choreographed to strengthen your body, improve flexibility, increase your range of mobility and help lower your stress hormones - adrenaline and cortisol.
This class is suitable for all abilities including beginners.

Our yin / restorative yoga practice invites you to slow down and come back home to yourselves after a busy day at work, looking after children/parents or running around getting chores done. With fewer poses and longer periods of time to be in these shapes, I invite you to transition from the active day to the quieter and calmer evening and prepare for a restful sleep. I will guide you to observe the breath and notice the undulating sensations within the body, watch the thoughts slow down and rest in moments of silence and stillness. With the support of props like a bolster, cushions, belt or blanket, you can soften, delve deeper within and surrender as anxieties and stress let go of their grip.
RESTORATIVE YIN
Mondays: 8-9PM Online
A truly welcoming class after a busy day. Arrive a few minutes early if you can, roll out your mat, lay down and take a few deep breaths. The class begins with breathwork and a fluid active vinyasa practice to move, empower and squeeze out the stresses from your day.
We follow with a much slower Yin or Restorative practice, taking our time to remain in stillness within a shape, inviting the nervous system to switch from a cortisol-driven day (sympathetic nervous system) to a calmer state of being (parasympathetic nervous system) to rest deeply.

YOGA FOR STRENGTH
Come and power up with our yoga for strength class.
We should all be incorporating strength conditioning in our schedules, and it’s even more important in your 40’s & 50’s. Strength training and body weight conditioning will help to maintain bone density and reduce muscle atrophy by actively putting stress on the bones, joints and exercising muscles.
Staying fit and strong in my 50’s is important to me, and as I age, my yoga and fitness practices evolve to best suit my body. When I incorporate strength conditioning with vinyasa & yin yoga, I’m balanced, I feel strong, I feel GREAT!!
Let’s do this….. My classes are fun and creative & stronger than the vinyasa flow. Each class incorporates yoga drills, functional movement & body weight conditioning exercises. I always wind the class down with a good yoga stretch and calming relaxation.
